In my free time, I have been really enjoying reading ‘The Introverted Lawyer’ by Heidi K. Brown and ‘Before I Let Go’ by Kennedy Ryan.
The Introverted Lawyer.
‘The Introverted Lawyer’ is a book written for any socially anxious, introverted, or quiet person struggling to find their place in law. As an ambivert, ‘finding my place,’ was something I struggled with in my early undergraduate years because I always thought lawyers were only extroverted. So far, this book has highlighted that I can contribute invaluable skills to the field — including empathy, critical thinking, precise legal writing, and creative problem-solving (Brown, 2017.) I love this book because it doesn’t push introverts to “fake it till they make it,” instead, it empowers people to be themselves and impact the field in their own way.

Before I Let Go.
The second reading, ‘Before I Let Go’ is a beautiful story that follows a broken family that learns to love again, and of two parents rebuilding their love for each other after a tragedy. I love this book because it is such an easy read. As I read, it feels like I’m watching a movie.

I can’t recommend these two books enough! I hope you all add these to your reading lists.
