It feels like just yesterday I began my first year at Carleton University. I began at the heart of the pandemic, and was confined to the four gray walls of my childhood bedroom. To say the least, this was a challenging setting to start my academic career.

My undergraduate journey has been anything but smooth sailing. But despite the obstacles, I have persevered and can [humbly] say that my accomplishments so far make me SO proud of how far I have come.

Now, with just three courses left until graduation, I’ve decided to take on a full course load to give my GPA a well-deserved boost after the struggles of my COVID year.

In addition to my full time studies, I will be conducting research for my honours thesis and will be working as a co-op student at a national Canadian law firm.

I can almost taste the finish line. The anticipation of concluding my studies is exhilarating to say the least.

Next stop: law school ❤
